Dr Chamunogwa Nyoni
Dr Chamunogwa Nyoni is an academic and Director of the Centre for Combating Human Trafficking at Bindura University. He has carried several researches on human trafficking and has led various initiatives in rehabilitating survivors of human trafficking including training of survivors in authentic livelihood options that include bee keeping, jam making and bead work. Dr Nyoni’s research interests lie in modern slavery and human trafficking and migration related issues.
Rudo Chiedza Mhokore
A determined individual who has a serious passion for anti-Hyuman trafficking notions. She is a highly proficient and eloquent speaker who sets out to achieve perfection in all realms of existence. As an educator, she works with children and seeks to improve and hone every skill they can use and become better individuals She is a social person who can get along with people and you have quite exquisite negotiating skills which is something that puts her above the rest. A talented coach is excellent in mentoring children and allocating tasks and can achieve all that she seeks to acquire in life. She is a philanthropist who finds peace and joy in assisting the various less privileged in different communities.
Shamiso Beaula Masokovere-Magoko
Shamiso Masokovere-Magoko is a Women and Child Rights Advocate. She is a committed human rights champion who actively engages with communities on child protection, child rights, and women’s rights. Since 2017, she has been actively involved in anti-trafficking efforts, tirelessly working to raise awareness, provide legal assistance, and drive policy reforms. With a deep commitment to justice and equality, Shamiso has dedicated her legal career to fighting against the exploitation and enslavement of vulnerable individuals. Her expertise in anti-trafficking laws and her comprehensive understanding of the complexities of this crime have made her a trusted advocate in the field. She holds a Law Degree (LLB) from the University of Northumbria, New Castle upon Tyne, London UK, a Master’s Degree in Gender and Policy Studies, and various Certificates in Child Rights and African Human Rights Systems. With her unwavering determination and compassionate approach, Shamiso continues to make a significant impact in the fight against human trafficking. Her work has not only changed the lives of survivors but has also influenced systemic change, drawing attention to this grave issue and driving the necessary reforms to create a safer and more just society.
